Description
To cope with the influx of migrants sent by Minsk to the EU, Poland is building a 5-metre high wall on its border with Belarus. 135 kilometres of the 180-kilometre border between the two countries have already been built. The construction is expected to be completed by the end of June. The wall will then be equipped with cameras and electronic sensors. According to Polish border guards, the number of attempts to cross the border illegally has fallen even though "every barrier can be crossed". IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
