In the 2nd constituency of the Gers, in France's Armagnac heartland, the socialist candidate David Taupiac, initially chosen by the Nupes (New Ecologic and Social People's Union, Eds.), will campaign solo for the Socialist Party (PS) with the support of the Occitanie region president, Carole Delga, who says the Nupes policies "are not satisfactory".
