The Hope Hostel in Kigali is preparing to accommodate the first batch of asylum seekers sent to Rwanda from the UK under a controversial new deal, who are expected to arrive in the East African nation on June 14. The hostel can accommodate up to 100 migrants, and manager Ismael Bakina says he will charge each 65 dollars per day. The Hope Hostel was constructed in 2014 to give refuge to the orphans from the 1994 genocide of roughly 800,000 to 1 million Tutsis.
