STOCKSHOTS of Saudi Arabia's historic district of Diriyah and its 18th century Salwa Palace, the site where the Kingdom's Al-Saud royal family is said to have first plotted its conquest of the Arabian Peninsula. Later this year, the restored palace will open to the public for the first time, as part of a larger effort by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman -- who officially became first in line to the throne five years ago today -- to both stoke Saudi nationalism and reframe Saudi history, according to analysts.
