Huda al-Matrooshi repairs cars at her garage in UAE's Sharjah, breaking gender stereotypes. al-Matrooshi is the first Emirati woman to own and run an auto workshop in the country. "It's been a dream, an ambition, and a challenge to prove to myself that I could do it...", says the mechanic inside her garage, located in the Sharjah Industrial Area. Her passion for automobiles drove her to work as a car repair broker for six years before deciding to open her own workshop in 2020.
