"I'm relieved, I can now go to university," confides Jean Chapel in the playground of the Lycee Voltaire in Paris. He has just passed his baccalaureate with honours, after a period of schooling disrupted by Covid. "It's a generation that has been a bit badly treated," admits Headmaster Christophe Laborde.
