Description
"By the time he got to us, there were two bullet wounds in his neck," says professor of emergency medicine Hidetada Fukushima at the hospital in Japan's Nora province where former PM Shinzo Abe was taken after being shot. "We performed a blood transfusion and also tried to stop the bleeding but unfortunately he didn’t make it."
SOUNDBITE 2: Hidetada Fukushima, professor of emergency medicine, Nara Medical University Hospital (male, Japanese):
"So the two bullet wounds were on the central part and the right side of his neck. The bullet wounds were quite small." IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
