Description
Burkina's strongman Lieutenant-Colonel Paul-Henri Sandaogo Damiba says an ex-presidents summit he organized aims to provide Burkina Faso with 'peace and cohesion' rather than 'impunity' after controversy erupted following the invitation of former president Blaise Compaoré, who stands convicted in the case of the assassination of another former president Thomas Sankara. Despite having an active warrant out for his arrest, Compaoré was allowed to land in the country, following eight years in exile, without being taken into custody . SOUNDBITE
