Pacific leaders take part a traditional opening ceremony of the Pacific Islands Forum (PIF) in Suva, Fiji, the region's most important meeting in years. New Zealand's Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and Australia's Foreign Minister Penny Wong are among those attending the summit, the region's most important meeting in years, coming after a Covid-enforced hiatus and as low-lying tropical isles run out of time for climate action.
