Edirne's centuries-old Eski Camii mosque in Turkey is hosting the latest round of an annual competition for the country's most melodic religious voice. Five muezzins, the clerics who issue the ezan (adhan in Arabic) call to prayer from minarets five times a day, are competing, hoping to progress to the final on August 17. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
