Description
July 14 fireworks light up the Paris sky as the Eiffel Tower shines with the yellow and blue of the Ukrainian flag. It's the first time since the Coronavirus outbreak that the fireworks have taken place, with thousands expected to turn out to watch on the Champ de Mars. The July 14 parade, held earlier Thursday, marks the anniversary of the 1789 assault by rebels on the Bastille, then a prison, an event that is credited with kicking off the French Revolution.
