Short profile of Russian soldier Vadim Shishimarin, who has had his life sentence reduced to 15 years by a Ukrainian court. Shishimarin received the life sentence in May for pre-meditated murder in the country's first war crimes trial. "According to the result of the appellate review, the appeal filed by the defence was partially satisfied," a statement on the Kyiv court of appeals' website says, adding that "Vadim Shishimarin was sentenced to 15 years of imprisonment."
