Ukrainian circus performers who fled after the Russian invasion of the country perform at a preview show a day before the opening of the Edinburgh Festival with Czech performers in a new show called "Boom". The Prague-based circus group "Cirk La Putyka" has given refuge to these 24 artists from the Kyiv Municipal Academy of Performing and Circus Arts, who arrived in the Czech Republic after the invasion, resulting in this cross-border show. Rosta Novak, director of 'Cirk La Putyka', explains that this young generation of Czech and Ukrainian artists is linked "by war, by circus and by generation".
