Locals in the French seaside town of Ouistreham react after the announcement of the death of the stranded beluga whale, who was euthanised after spending days in the Seine river. At least 200 people had gathered along the fences around the lock, near the city center, in the hopes of seeing the 800 kg cetacean, which usually lives in the cold waters of Canada or Norway.
