The fires continue to rage for the fifth consecutive day in the forest massif of the Serra da Estrela Natural Park, in central Portugal. The means and men deployed are not enough to overcome the mega-fire that has already ravaged 10,000 hectares in the area. "In the past, every 5 or 6 years, there were fires but they were usually brought under control during the day...
