Calmly, their hands resting on their bellies, expectant mothers-to-be slowly descend the two floors that lead to the underground bunker of the maternity hospital number 3 in this Ukrainian city under Russian fire. Seven women at the ward are scheduled to give birth soon in a city where war broke out without warning and in a country where several maternity hospitals have already been attacked since the Russian invasion began.
