"One big Reblochon less per day and per cow": In the French Alpine region of Haute-Savoie, Theo Bargetzy, a breeder and cheese producer, has noticed a drop in production due to the drought that has been raging since the beginning of the summer. The grass, now yellowed, is even lacking in the mountain pastures, giving "milk that is of lesser cheesemaking quality" and affecting all of the eight prized cheeses with protected designation of origin in Savoie.
