At a press conference in Luanda, commissioners of the National Electoral Commission (CNE, Comissão Nacional Eleitoral) explain that they "will not sign" the partial results of the legislative elections. They would be delivering a "bad service to the voters when the CNE was supposed to ensure a better electoral process thirty years after the first general elections". According to the latest official results, released Thursday night by the electoral commission, after counting more than 97% of the votes cast, the former single party, the MPLA, is in the lead with 51.07%.
