Description
At the final session of an investment conference in Tunisia, Japan commits to cooperate closely with African countries to promote more resilient economies, and to use its place on the United Nations Security Council to push for an African seat on the top world body. "We can count on Japan's advocacy to ensure that the debate on counterterrorism is taken seriously by the UN Security Council, whose primary mission is world peace and security," says Senegalese President Macky Sall, the current Chairperson of the African Union.
