Images of the German energy group Uniper's headquarters and one of its gas storage facilities in southern Germany as the energy giant said more state-backed loans were needed to shore up its financial position with Russian gas supply disruptions and soaring prices putting the group under increasing pressure. Uniper, which accepted a government rescue package in July, said in a statement it had asked for its credit facility with the public lender KfW to be boosted "by an additional four billion euros ($4 billion) for further stabilisation".
