Senior Program Officer with the Uyghur Human Rights Project, Pete Irwin, considers the recently puiblished UN report alleging that China may have commited crimes against the humanity an "incredibly strong report" despite the fact that it avoids the word genocide.
The United Nations report mentions serious human rights abuses in China's Xinjiang region saying torture allegations were credible and citing possible crimes against humanity. SOUNDBITES
