French Minister for Energy Transition Agnès Pannier-Runacher called for "sobriety" and "European solidarity" as France, like most of Europe, faces a difficult winter. Speaking at the end of an unprecedented Defence Council chaired by President Emmanuel Macron, Pannier-Runacher says that "mutual solidarity of gas and electricity exchanges" with Germany and Spain will help France in the winter.
