Members of the Syrian civil defence, known as the White Helmets take part in the search operation for survivors, following a reported Russian forces bombing, in the Syrian rebel-held western countryside of Idlib. At least four of those killed in the strikes that hit a stone quarry and a nearby home west of Idlib city were civilians, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a Britain-based monitor that relies on an extensive network of sources on the ground.
