Description
The coffin and cortège of Queen Elizabeth II passes through Ballater Church in northeast Scotland. The sovereign's oak casket set off from Balmoral, where she died in peace, kickstarting an odyssey of national mourning. The cortège is set to pass through a number of Aberdeenshire towns on the way to Edinburgh, where a prayer service attended by her son King Charles III will be held in her memory. IMAGES
