Volunteers in Ecuador build wooden rafts with red mangrove seeds attached and send them out into the water in an attempt to counter the pollutants that are contaminating the Guayaquil estuary. For decades, tonnes of rubbish, excrement and heavy metals have fallen into the waters that run north-south through Ecuador's main port.
