Description
Despite a more significant presence in gardens in winter, due in particular to migration or changes in behaviour, the population of common birds in France continues to decline. "In spring, there is a 41% decline in species (...), which is extremely worrying for the future of these bird populations", explains the president of the League for the Protection of Birds (LPO), Allain Bougrain-Dubourg, at a press conference marking the 10th anniversary of the garden birds observatory.
