"President Zelensky and Macron have asked us and tasked us, you and me, to provide them with suggestions for the month of January to redefine a support agenda for Ukraine in the military field" says French Minister of the Armed Forces, Sebastien Lecornu, during his visit to Kyiv and meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart Oleksii Reznikov. His visit aims to discuss ramping up French military support for the war effort against Russia, including ground-to-air defence from Russian missile attacks.
