While the village of Luetzerath has been permanently evacuated by the police and is being destroyed to make way for the expansion of a coal mine in western Germany, environmental activists tell of the police violence they faced during the large demonstration on Saturday 14 January in the presence of Swedish activist Greta Thunberg.
