Turtles and fish swim around divers performing an underwater lion dance in a Malaysian aquarium ahead of the Lunar New Year festival. Carrying oxygen canisters, the dancers under a single lion costume jump in mid-water before slowly landing on the sandy floor of a huge Aquaria KLCC water tank. "Most lion dances on land are very acrobatic…Here underwater, we do the same except (our lion when it jumps is) suspended in (mid-water)," says Aquaria executive director Daryl Foong.
