Ukrainian deminers began a week long training in Cambodia on Monday and had the chance to see Japanese-made metal detector equipment in action. According to Human Rights Watch, Russian troops have used at least seven different types of landmines in Ukraine since the invasion in February last year. Poverty striken Cambodia -- still recovering from decades of conflict -- is one of the most heavily-mined countries in the world. Millions of landmines were laid in Cambodia during the country's nearly three-decade civil war, which ended in 1998, causing tens of thousands of casualties. IMAGES
