Residents of Ommeren in the Netherlands describe an eventful two weeks after a map published by Dutch archivists suggests Nazi treasure was buried in their village during the war. "It stimulates the imagination" says Klaas Tammes, "it's a children's book, a map with a cross on it, the treasure is buried there." Residents describe the influx of treasure hunters to Ommeren following the map's publication. Restrictions introduced by local authorities and wet weather have since seen visitor numbers drop.
