Germany's new Defence Minister Boris Pistorius meets US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin in Berlin and announces that the two nations stand 'side by side' on their approach to Ukraine. Austin will convene a meeting of around 50 countries on Friday at the US-run Ramstein military base in Germany, including all 30 members of the NATO alliance, where the focus will be on more advanced support and heavier, more modern weapons for Ukraine.
