For the first time in three years, Chinese citizens overseas can travel home for the Lunar New Year without quarantines and other severe Covid restrictions. An AFP journalist records their journey from the Thai capital Bangkok to the southwestern Chinese city of Kunming. After a PCR test result with 48-hour validity is checked at Bangkok airport, passengers can board the flight and walk out of the airport freely upon their arrival in China. IMAGES
