Protesters and police clash in Santa Cruz during a demonstration to demand the release of one of Bolivia's most prominent opposition figures, Luis Fernando Camacho. The right-wing governor of Bolivia's economic powerhouse region of Santa Cruz was jailed for four months on "terrorism" charges. Camacho was being investigated for his role in strikes and sometimes violent protests in 2019, prompted by leftist former president Evo Morales's disputed election to a fourth term in office. IMAGES
