Description
France's Military Chief of staff, General Thierry Burkhard, signed with his Algerian counterpart General Said Chengriha a roadmap for the strengthening of Franco-Algerian cooperation in the field of defence. The head of the Algerian army was received by the French Minister of the Armed Forces Sebastien Lecornu. A highly symbolic trip, the last visit of an Algerian chief of staff to France was made by Gaid Saleh in May 2006.
