The appeal trial of the Mediator health scandal opens before the Paris court of appeal. The Servier laboratories were accused of causing the death of hundreds of patients with their drug. The trial opened in a room filled with victims. "We are going to focus on the main culprit who confused everyone, including the health authorities, the Servier laboratory," says Irene Frachon, a lung specialist and whistleblower on Mediator, as she arrives at the courtroom.
