Police and protesters clash as hundreds of people gather in Peru's capital Lima to demand the resignation of President Dina Boluarte and call for elections to be held. Peru has been in the grip of a serious political crisis since the December 7 removal and arrest of socialist President Pedro Castillo on charges of attempting a coup.
