Description
When Nick Hewlett, head of a London school, was told about controversial influencer Andrew Tate by a parent, he had never heard the name before. Yet he soon found out his students were familiar with Tate's misogynist posts on social media. Hewlett decided to act and St Dunstan's College, like some other schools, began incorporating discussion of Tate's ideas into their classes on gender identity, even before his arrest in December in Romania. "These young people are occupying a world... which isn't necessarily shared with their school or with their parents", he says. "We need to be able to help guide these young people to taking the right choices and to forging the path that's right for them." IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
