Description
Environmental group Greenpeace sends reinforcements to support their fellow activists occupying the vessel carrying Shell's oil platform to protest against the energy company's fossil fuel activities.
"The climate change that we are facing is part of the fossil fuel that Shell is pushing in order to make profit," says Nonhle Mbuthuma, an activist from South Africa. "We said to Shell, they must stop continuing drilling...and pay for the damages that they've already done."
Activists from the environmental group boarded the vessel contracted to Shell last week as it sailed in the Atlantic Ocean, en route to the Penguins field, close to the Scottish Shetland Islands in the North Sea.
