Residents of Kahramanmaras province in southeastern Turkey, the epicentre of a deadly earthquake, launch their own search and rescue mission. For two days they have not received help from "official search and rescue teams", they tell AFP. Amid the chaos, family members of those still missing are on the brink of losing hope. "Where is the state? There is no state official here, for God's sake," Ali Sagiroglu says, whose brother and nephew have been under ruins for over 48 hours. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
