Description
Rescue workers in Antakya, southern Turkey, pull a woman, Melda Adtas, alive from the ruins of a collapsed building almost 80 hours after Monday's deadly earthquake. Images show the outpouring of emotion from both bystanders and rescuers at the success, as search operations across the country become more urgent with each passing hour. "It was very difficult. She was under a wall" says one of those conducting the operation in Antakya. "They heard her voice" says the woman's father, "and ran towards her. I... God bless you". The death toll from the disaster has risen to over 17,500 across Turkey and neighbouring Syria. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
