Two giant heart-shaped lanterns, along with about a hundred smaller ones, dot the skies of northern Taiwan ahead of Valentine's Day. The six-metre-high lanterns were released during the annual Pingxi Sky Lantern Festival during which visitors write their hopes and wishes on the lanterns and release them into the sky. IMAGES
