Beijing says China's handling of US balloons entering its airspace was 'responsible and professional', and the US should view the Chinese balloon incident 'objectively and rationally'. The spokesperson of the ministry of foreign affairs also adds the US's blacklisting of six Chinese airship-linked companies
was part of 'illegal unilateral sanctions'.
The ministry also responds to the Philippines' accusation that a Chinese ship used a military-grade laser light at a Philippine patrol boat, the foreign ministry spokesperson says the Philippine boat had "intruded" into China's sovereign waters without permission. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
