Following a meeting in Brussels with defence ministers, NATO Secretary General Jens Soltenberg says he welcomes "the new pledges of support made by NATO allies, including more heavy weapons and military training" towards Ukraine. "2022 was the eighth consecutive year of increased defence spending by European allies and Canada. This trend is expected to continue this year, but more needs to be done," he adds.
