Description
US social networks need "legal flexibility" to make decisions about content moderation on their platforms without systematically risking lawsuits, says the president of the Computer and Communications Industry Association (CCIA), whose members include Google, Meta (Facebook) and Twitter. "If courts penalize companies that miss needles in haystacks, that sends a signal, 'Don't look at all'," says CCIA President Matt Schruers. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
