US senators on both sides of the aisle are accompanied by 75-year-old star British singer Elton John in a visit to South Africa to mark 20 years since the launch of the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief, or PEPFAR. Lindsey Graham vows to continue with the programme despite Pretoria's alliance with Russia. "No matter what they do tomorrow with the Russians, I think it would stupid for us in the United States to terminate this program because it would bite us in the ass eventually," Graham tells a press briefing.
