Gloria Allred, an attorney for three women in the trial of disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein, says she is satisfied with the sentence. But she is bothered as her clients were not allowed to speak at the hearing in a Los Angeles court on Thursday, "my clients were silenced," she tells the press. Convicted sex offender Weinstein, already serving a 23-year sentence for a 2020 conviction in New York, received a new conviction of 16 years imprisonment for the rape of a woman in a Beverly Hills hotel room a decade ago.
