Japanese Finance Minister Shunichi Suzuki said on Thursday the finance ministers from the G7 states agreed to remain committed to their "unwavering support" for Ukraine. In a joint statement delivered at the sidelines of the G20 Finance Ministers' meeting in Bengaluru, Suzuki also said that the ministers will closely monitor the effectiveness of sanctions against Russia and take "further action as needed".
