Russia's deputy foreign minister Sergei Ryabkov, is in Geneva addressing the UN Human Rights Council, to a half empty UN disarmament conference room; absent delegates include the US, Poland, France and Romania. UN ammbassadors from the US and Ukraine, standing outside the conference room, were among several to voice support for Ukraine. They refused to enter the room for the duration of Ryabkov's speech during which he said that drone attacks which Kyiv is alleged to have carried out on Russian military bases would only have been possible with US assistance.
