In Creuse, in central France, an area with a severe shortage of doctors limiting access to health care, a phenomenon the French call "medical deserts", the 'Medecins Solidaires' collective has set up a health centre in Ajain. What makes it special? It welcomes a new doctor every week. This is a godsend for this village of a thousand inhabitants, which was desperate to replace its long-standing doctor who had retired.
